    Practice the values, techniques and relational skills needed to coach personal change, including accountability, feedback, learning from life, and building growth-centered relationships.

    Outcomes

    • Understand and be able to articulate and illustrate the ten Dream Releaser core coaching values
    • Understand and experience accountability, and value it as crucial to reaching one's potential and finishing well
    • Learn practical ways to foster change by providing S.E.A (Support, Encouragement & Accountability) in an accountable relationship
    • Understand and experience authenticity, and know how to create transparent, growth-centered relationships
    • Know how to find, approach, and develop a covenant relationship with a coach, peer coach or a peer mentor for specific areas of life and how to make the relationship growth-oriented
    • Learn to ask powerful coaching questions
    • Develop effective listening skills
    • Begin building a long-term pattern of feedback and debriefing into his or her leadership or ministry. Learn to give and receive timely, specific feedback
    • Redefine Kingdom success and failure in terms of learning and growth
    • Understand and G.R.O.W. (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) model and demonstrate ability to use it to structure a coaching conversation


  • Define your personal life purpose using tangible tools. The track encompasses dreaming, goal-setting, personal values, life purpose and biblical life-planning. Completion of Formation or ACT Upgrade is required.

    Outcomes

    • Develop a deepened sense of destiny - faith that God really does have a specific plan for our lives, and a solid hope that by grace we'll be able to fulfill His purpose for us
    • Discover in a fresh way how God shapes us through our experiences, and how those experiences help us understand God's design for our lives
    • Learn to lead others through a reflective life purpose discovery process that gathers insights about God's design through identifying gleanings, convergence experiences, and themes
    • Understand and begin to experience why and how to dream and explore the future more freely
    • Identify and deal with dream busters in our lives, clearing the way to experience a new level of freedom to dream and believe God for that dream's fulfillment
    • Discover a biblical life planning and goal-setting process that works for your gifting and personality style, and begin implementing it in the context of peer accountability
    • Become adept at working with dreams and goals - grasping how they differ, and learning how and when to convert dreams to S.M.A.R.T.goals
    • Develop a working set of personal values in the ten life categories, and understand how to use them as a plumb line for decision-making and goal setting
    • Begin taking action steps and making practical life changes (large or small) that move us toward our life purpose
    • Develop tools to stop and re-focus our lives at any time in the future, and learn to help others do likewise

  • implementation

    Advanced coaching skills and exercises, including practical tools for identifying and engaging growth issues in others. You will learn to create growth plans for almost any coaching issue. Completion of Life Focus is required.

    Outcomes

    • Be able to identify and name intuition indicators in a story or situation
    • Demonstrate ability to ask effective probing questions (neutral, tentative, partnering) to gather information
    • Be able to identify the different categories of formation issues on the sifting table, and what techniques are appropriate to engage them
    • Understand and be able to use the A.T.E.P. framework to discern whether and when to engage an issue
    • Be able to develop growth plans using Lifeforming and personal resources for a client's growth goal
    • Have identified his or her personal coaching messages, audience, niche and goals
    • Know several indirect engaging techniques and how to use them
    • Be able to demonstrate engaging an issue with several different partnering techniques
    • Understand the place of direct techniques and how to use them
    • Have successfully coached a client under the supervision of a trainer
